About the Firm - Profile
Although the firm was established in 1933 from a combination of parts of previous practices, you'll find progressive thinking applies in all areas of our service, as much to legal work as to estate agency.
We try to be different from most other law firms in our area. We provide many high-level commercial services usually only available in large city practices, but more conveniently located for Lanarkshire businesses, and usually at lower costs. We have handle business for clients not only throughout Scotland, but often in England, and we are increasingly called upon to prepare or review commercial contracts involving international trade. Much of our business is conducted with major city commercial law firms.
We still very much offer a family legal service, but we have enhanced quality, service and expertise through technology, training and specialisation. Our range of services is sufficient to handle the needs of most families, and we always endeavour to provide high standards of advice and quality of service.
We recognise that a key requirement of most clients is to be able to get hold of their solicitor reasonably easily. In normal office hours, and beyond that if there's anybody available to answer, your call will be to a person, not a message system. If if we say we'll get back to you, we mean it! We are in a customer service business, and we take the provision of a good service very seriously.
